At Loyola Press, we have been planning our new website and community features for what seems like forever but, in reality, has only been about a year. Today our new website and this blog are revealed to the world and I am nervously standing by to see how you will react to the experience.
There will, of course, be ‘bugs’ that we’ll need to fix, but we have already wrestled many flaws to the ground and defeated them. We are standing by, ready to work on any issues that emerge. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any concerns you may have.
Preparing the new www.loyolapress.com has given me insight into just how many people it takes to bring a fairly complex site like ours to life. We worked with a design team in Chicago and we had programmers writing code both here, in India and in Germany. Our Technology Services team has been working lots of extra hours for several months and I want to acknowledge their dedication and hard work. I hope and pray that our efforts pay off for you and that Loyola Press comes closer to meeting your needs and desires. As a Jesuit Ministry, we want everything we do to be Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam – For the Greater Glory of God.
