Jesuit 2.0

by Paul on March 6, 2009

Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI has produced a marvelous series of videos on Jesuit and Ignatian themes.  Jesuit 2.0 has a refreshing take on how and what a Jesuit education can contribute today.  It is worth 1′18″ of your time:

While they have a point about the benefits of a good education, I did have to laugh. Only a Jesuit college would claim all the credit for having the vision to do what what a solid Liberal Arts Education should do.
I was graced with a wonderful Liberal Arts Education based upon the “great books” but sad to say it wasn’t at a Jesuit college :( I think I wasn’t too scarred and can still live to love a Jesuit or two.

Maura,

For the Irish and Irish-descended, giving up teasing for Lent would be like a fish giving up water…
