This morning I rose early in Malta and decided to go and sit looking out at the ocean for my morning prayer. I thought that the spectacular ocean view would feed my prayer, but instead I became fascinated by a gentle breeze playing through the grass in front of me. I noticed how each blade of grass was moved independently by the wind, but that the overall effect was of action in unision. I found myself thinking about how God deals with each of us as beloved individuals but how, when we act together in response to God’s call, we can get a real movement going.

Cool, the Holy Spirit at work! I may have to save this image to use with my confirmation class next year.
Enjoy the “view” and God’s word speaking to you thru it!
Peace
Thanks for the welcome, Paul. I am so glad that this blog is available.
I wait daily for God’s call, his grace and the infusion of the Holy Spirit.
I am not alone in this because I know that there are seekers like me, like the lovely folks in my parish, who very often wave in unision to support one another. They have always supported me.
So lets all do “the wave”!

Hello Paul,
What an exciting life (in the Lord) you lead. Malta is a long way from Syracuse and Homer! I’m so happy that your following your passion for all that is good and holy. I have enjoyed your BLOG. God Bless, Lana
To see God’s work in the beauty that surrounds us is truly a gift of magnificent proportion. As I work in my perrenial flower garden, I am in awe of what God gives to us in so many forms of beauty in His work. That He allows us to experience the simple joys that escape others because of circumstances only He can fathom is an unspeakably precious gift.
