I am grateful a car full of teens who could not stop laughing; for the same teens who slept until noon, so I could write peacefully; fresh raspberries from my garden for lunch; and abundant sunshine after so much rain.

I'd like to thank God for all the really good people in my life. They are like wonderful ingredients in a recipe; adding love, fun, inspiration, kindness, support and their rich goodness to everyday.

By the way, Paul I have the same little laughing Buddha on my night table, as well as a picture of my Mom & Dad, a rosary and a small figurine of Curious George. Go Figure!

Now laugh!

My wife, daughter, and son-in-law (actually son) who gave me a wonderful Father's Day dinner and evening, and then the next day took me to the mouth of the Columbia River at Astoria, Oregon, and a visit to the Lewis and Clark winter camp. I can't go on my own any more, and each minute of the way I felt their love.
