Dear "5 Things" Commenters,

Thank you for sharing your lists. It helped me to remember to thank God for the things you included that I hadn't even thought about. Michelle's final remark: "and God in all things." is a good reminder to be always conscious of finding ways to see God at work in our daily lives.

1. Daily help from my wife to get me showered and dressed.
2. The hot cup of coffee made and served to me by my son-in-law.
3. The delicious banana bread made by my daughter.
4. The braces on my legs that help me walk so much more easily.
5. Love from God and love from family that motivate these simple gifts.

In no order...
0. The reminder to do this!
1. The leaves rustling outside my study window as I write.
2. Praying the office outside with my cup of tea.
3. The chocolate chip cookies the teens are baking in my kitchen.
4. The abundance of raspberries in my garden.
5. Five hundred words written this morning...

and God in all things.

Things I am grateful for today:

The beautiful flowers in clay pots that greet me on my front & back steps. Happy comings & goings.
The Mocking Bird and his buddy who just won't quit in the morning. We get lots of laughs from them.
Some rock & roll this morning. Classic, of course; Stones & Beatles (ok, a little U2 thrown in the mix).
The sun is shining after a whole June full of rain!!!
Two special co-workers who have already made my day.
Oh, and I think "People for Others", too.
