Over the weekend, I returned to Syracuse for a friend’s wedding. As I was getting on the plane at O’Hare, the flight attendant announced that we were the first passengers to ever fly on the aircraft. It did, indeed, have that “new plane smell” and look and feel. The only real difference between it and any other plane I’ve flown on is that the windows were considerably larger. Not wider, but much longer. It made looking out much more fun than is usual and, since I like to pray on planes, I had a bigger visual palate to contemplate than usual.
As I indicated in the title of this post, it was a minor experience but nonetheless fun. Do you have any “minor, but neat” things you want to share with us?
