This is wonderful medicine for someone who has had a habit of life of focusing on the world’s troubles and my own, and who is sick, and who is on prayer teams that receive daily prayer requests from people who are sick or troubled or suffering economically. I know God does not want us to turn a blind eye to such things, but praise and thanksgiving also should be a part of our daily prayer and living.
