We discussed 3 mini lessons from it. 1. The importance of taking time notice the beauty of God's creation around us. 2. "Try, Try again!" that somethings are worth striving for even if we don't get them right the first time. 3. The bird keeps circling back to his friend. (Brian's insight not mine) So we discussed how we all need good friends when we taking on challenging endeavors. I guess teachable moments do show up in the most unexpected times and places.
