Back in July, I posted “Never Work With Children Or Animals” which featured a video, “Awkward Questions About Jesus” from the wonderful BBC series Outnumbered. It featured children “torturing” a vicar at a wedding reception. I’ve now found a scene [4'33"] from the same show which shows what happened in the minutes before the wedding…

What a wonderful way to begin a day Father Campbell — I followed your link to “Never Work With Children or Animals” and watched “Guest of the Queen.
I could write a book on the joyous sense of wonderment and “newness” of life that children often bring to others simply through their “being,” instead I will just say a very big thank you for today’s new content in your Blog.
“…on the wings of song and a prayer,” may you, and one and all, of us be carried through our day today.
Thank you and congratulations also to you and your team for the creation of today’s 3-Minute Retreat, which, by the way, along with your Blog, took me one and a half hours to absorb, internalize and to offer up my love, praise and gratitude for all that was offered within both websites.
Peace be with you,
Ron Montpetit

Paul, this posting really lifted my spirit–thank you. We might want to develop a whole pre-marriage program around her asking brides and grooms questions!

Ronrobjoe,
Yes, children do bring wonderment and a “newness” to life and for that we should be truly thankful. Glad you’re liking the 3-Minute Retreat and participating in this blog. I’m glad to have you in the mix.

Michele,
You should type in “BBC Outnumbered” into the Search box at YouTube. It is a remarkable series and the children, who improvise, are fantastic.
