Last year, my colleague Tom McGrath and I held the first annual blog-alogue. This year, I’m going further afield. I have invited Meredith Gould, newly-elected Abbess of the Virtual Abbey, to join me in this year’s blog-alogue. You will be reading her posts here on PeopleForOthers and my posts will be on her blog. We’ll provide links to each other’s blogs at the end of every post so that you can easily find your way to and fro.
I asked Meredith what she wanted you to know about her and this was her response:
Meredith Gould is a sociologist and the author of seven books, including Why Is there a Menorah on the Altar? Jewish Roots of Christian Worship. She writes culture commentary about faith, religion, and everyday life at More Meredith Gould , edits a blog for the Virtual Abbey, and delights in seeing church come alive and thrive via social media.
I am thrilled and, to be honest, a little stage-frightened to join Meredith on this blogging journey and I ask you to give her a big welcome when her first post appears here on Monday.
