It’s hard for me to believe it, but today is People For Others second anniversary. I certainly didn’t know what I was letting myself in for when I volunteered to start a blog. There have been days when – truly – I have banged my head on my desk as I’ve desperately sought for something worthwhile to share with you. I often tell people that I don’t have an un-uttered Ignatian thought, ideal or dream. That having been said, the wonderful community of good and thoughtful people who have gathered here fills me with a “wild joy.”
There is so much rancorous anger around these days (and, occasionally, someone tries to bring it here) that I value a space where people can disagree but do so in a spirit of constructive dialog.
So, above all, thank you. Happy blog-aversary.
