This [3'46"] video features one man, Jim Meskimen, doing a Shakespeare monologue using the voices of 25 celebrities. I was impressed. Hope you are, too.
Update: Apologies to those who came here and didn’t get to see the video. Some bug in the blogging software now makes the occasional video randomly disappear.

Well, as I have indicated on here a few times previously, my appreciation of classic literature was beaten out of me as a teenager (sometimes literally) so the absence of any link to any Shakespeare did not upset me unduly on a Monday morning (I am joking by the way)
There appears to be a link missing. It is available on here though and very impressive he is too!

Simon,
Thanks for coming through with the link for some of the others. I simply don’t know what’s happening with the software. I previewed this on Friday and it was working fine.

Thanks, Simon, for the connection.
We might have gone to the same schools – I also had a “dedicated” classic lit teacher…
Nice way to start the week. Thanks…

Bob,
We all have things from our childhood that are worth getting over…

Come on guys, give Shakespeare another try. Loved this. My favorite was Droopy Dog. I thought the voices suited their parts of the verse. What a talent, both ancient and more recent. Can’t be too serious on Monday morning.

Marg,
I’m with you – especially about not being too serious on Monday mornings.

I can’t seem to find a link?!
Fran,
Sorry about that… When I first tried to fix it, I posted the wrong video. Denise soon put me right.

D’oh, it is in Simon’s comment- thanks Simon! Brilliant!!
Fran,
No your issue. Mine – and the blogging software providers…

I love Shakespeare and enjoyed studying the plays at school but now I try to get to Stratford (near Toronto) as often as I can to see a play.
Thanks, Paul; this was a great way to start the week – such talent!
Lynda,
I, too, have been to Stratford, ON. What a wonderful place you have there.
