He was reading the Gospel and, instead, of saying that the Apostles came to the shore and, “began washing their nets,” he unfortunately said, “they began washing their nuts.”
With reason, it seems to me, he claims that if he’d just kept going there would have been no problem. Instead, he stopped and said, “I meant ‘nets,’ not ‘nuts’.”
It took a minute or two, but soon the entire congregation was in gales of laughter.
We all make mistakes, don’t we?
