The Piano Guys have such a good time playing and, Paul, you must have really enjoyed the cello music. It was great. Thanks.

I just came in to take a break from the garden and noticed the beginning of the song almost sounded like the buzzing of the bees that are working along-side me. Interesting, since each are taking part in creating beauty.

Annette,

Beauty is everywhere when we take care to notice it, right?

Beauty, joy, and light sabers. Is there any better way to start work on a Monday morning?

Reply

Paul July 2, 2012 at 2:43 pm

Michelle,

I could do without the early morning workout with my trainer but, otherwise, I’m on board with you.

My favorite bit was the bow toss — and was somewhat pleased the outtakes showed it was not as effortless as it seemed.

I also love seeing the joy he feels at creating something beautiful. A great way to start the week.

Denise,

Making the complicated look effortless is the end product of [almost] all great work.

They’re gonna have to start calling themselves the cello guy, the way things are going, but this prelude is possibly my favorite piece of music of all time. I’ve been trying to master playing it on the classical guitar.
