Few things are allowed to upstage Wisdom Stories on Fridays, but today I want to let you know that the next blogalogue* begins on Monday the 16th. I am honored and delighted to tell you that my partner will be the illustrious Margaret Silf.
Margaret’s Inner Compass is already a classic of Ignatian Spirituality and I have devoured her other books. Among my favorites are Compass Points, The Other Side of Chaos and Simple Faith and, yes, [funny that you should ask,] they are all published by Loyola Press!
I would be thrilled to dialogue with Margaret at any time, but I am especially pleased to be able to do it just as Just Call Me López is about to be published.
Joe Durepos, our Acquisitions Editor, came to me about 18 months ago and asked, “What do you really want to publish?” I told him I wanted a book about Ignatius Loyola – not another biography – that showed him as charismatic, caring and compelling as he really was. Joe then asked me who I thought should write such a book. Without hesitation, I told him I wanted Margaret to do it.
And she has done it — magnificently.
Please join me in welcoming Margaret to PFO. Let the blogalogue commence!
*For those of you who are new, a “blogalogue” is a “blog dialogue” where I ask a guest a question and he/she responds and then the guest asks me a question and I attempt a response.

That’s so totally awesome, Fr. Paul. I cannot wait for this to happen.
Monika,
The great thing about being late in replying to comments is that I can tell you that the wait is over and it has begun!

Hello Margaret!
I met you when you were here in the Philippines! I’m a fan!
Jaymee,
We both “worship” at the same altar!

Am I being misled by Amazon or is “Just call me Lopez” already available in Kindle format?
Simon,
No, you are not mistaken. You may be annoyed, however, when you learn that we are planning to give it away free on Amazon for a couple of weeks, starting in late July. Sorry.
Paul
