What a happy chappy. We’d ask if he’d been on the mushrooms if he was here
This is a great way to start the day! I really liked the line: “Yes, you can be twenty something and find a church that is relevant!” I will be quoting Matt in a talk I’m giving to the people involved in ministry at our parish.
Paul, thanks for sharing this and Matt, thanks for your enthusiasm for your faith.
Think I prefer the flash-mob version of Beethoven’s 9th in the Som Sabadell commercial — but Matt certainly seems to be having fun with his Spirited harmonica rendition.
WOW is he intense! I am looking forward to reading his book.
I love it. I love his enthusiasm. It was great to see areas of Boston. Spent my college days there and the first years of my marriage!
Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!
So nice to see a young person with such enthusiasm for the faith. What a blessing!
It is time to go and buy this book. The harmonica sold it!
Great promo – keep that promo crew! I worked at Harvard Law for 20 years and love the tour scenes, did I see St. Paul Parish? Catholic TV makes me nervous, though, so I’m glad to have those video clips to learn more before buying the book.
I read this when it first came out. If anything, we need to learn to laugh at ourselves! The stigmata didn’t frighten me, it was the relics! When they brought out the relics, oh God!! Why would you expose a child to that??? Good read. Even better with the use of visual media.
Ah, Rico, we weren’t relic-rich in my suburban parish. But I did pray to Mary not to appear to me, and even threatened her that I wouldn’t tell anyone if she did. So I would like to read about Weber’s fear of the stigmata!
Jean, did that really work? the threat, I mean?
Fun video of Matt. I’m ready to order the book.
Oh yes, Jane, so far it has …
This book is so much fun! Not a Cradle Catholic, but what made me laugh was gaining insight into someone else’s childhood. No matter how normal our childhood, it holds within it the capacity to traumatize! And, if we can get people laughing, especially the young, we can get them talking and they so very much need to talk. Beats shooting at each other.
