How this man sat still enough, for long enough, to write a book, confounds me. But I am glad that he did. I can’t tell you how many times I loughed out loud reading this, and I can’t wait to give it to my daugher for her confirmation retreat reading.
Matt Weber is a real livewire! I enjoyed reading his book because it is so full of energy and laughter, yet, he conveyed his message quite strongly even in a jesting manner. His love of God and his religion were expressed beautifully that it made for effective “preaching” because the message and the messenger appear to be one. I have recommended this book to a lot of my friends and young adults. Matt has truly manifested the great humor of God – just like Jesus in some of his stories and teachings.
I also enjoyed Jacob Martin’s What’s so Funny About Faith. Both books and authors are hilarious!!!
The one memory from my early childhood is how cold it is in that place! Growing up in CA, he’d never survive! I picture him traversing through the jungle with his dad and running in horror from Hercules Beetles! lmao
I loved the book and I have been loving the videos! Today is a day when I am a bit down about church, for various reasons. I did not see this yesterday when it was posted, but I just watched. God is good – because Matt’s unbridled joy and enthusiasm has warmed me today.

Did the punch line cut out too soon on that? My video cut off after 42 seconds.
Harvard Square looks quite nice though
It should have run a minute and 27 seconds.
Simon,
Apparently, we were having “technical difficulties” early in the day.

Denise,
I agree. He seems hyperactive, doesn’t he? I’m glad you enjoyed the book.

Superb and so full of life!!
Lynda,
Yes, full of life. I think I’d be exhausted trying to live that life, but he sure is engaged with the world.

I want to see the haunted places on this “tour “….
Emma,
You will when your son enters Harvard as a freshman.

To all of you, many thanks for you kind comments! I’m glad you are enjoying the book and special thanks to Fr. Paul for these posts.
Most times, yes–I am a bit “spirited”–especially when talking about my faith on camera. Here is a video where I am a bit more “lifeless”: http://www.catholictv.com/Guerilla-Marketing.aspx
I would say, “video not available at this time, ” is about as lifeless as it gets!
