Yesterday we had opera. Today it’s a harmonica solo by Matt Weber, as he continues the living tour of his book, Fearing the Stigmata.

This brought life to a chapter in the book that made me smile. I am not sure that I would *always* want to hear a harmonica in church, but I am sure that Matt Weber’s unbridled joy is something I do like to hear!
Well, as I said last week, there is definitely a case for investigating the provenance of his mushrooms
Absolutely marvellous! I was one of the speakers at a workshop on youth in our parish this past Saturday and this joy and spontaneity that Matt exudes is one of the things that youth can share in worship. Many adults seem to have lost their wonder and awe. Our youth band would welcome Matt and his harmonica!
I enjoy listening to Matt.
His energy.
In our Parish we have 2 folk style groups.
We do have the traditional choir also.
My own preference is folk
My daughter has been singing in one of the folk groups for a number of years.
That’s pretty cool!
It is wonderful for me to see, Matt and hopefully many of his generation being so enthusiastic about our Church. I pray that my cousins (in their 30″s) will come back and that little Gianna who is three will be baptised.
I think Matt’s energy and his playing the harmonica outside or inside the church is a wakeup for all of us. I’m still thinking of what a great title for a book–Fearing the Stigmata.
I continue to be astounded, and inspired, by his vivacity. I bet the liturgies he plays at are lively celebrations.
His joy is contagious! What a great witness for our youth!
