Okay, this is slightly weird.
“Corollary” is the only word (I know of) that I can’t pronounce in English.
People teach me how to say it and I’ll be able to do it… until the next time I try to use the word and it comes out as “corrorarry” or “collollaly.” I simply cannot get that word straight in my head.
My father had a similar thing about the name “Charles,” which he would always pronounce as “Char-les.” No matter how often we told him how to pronounce it, he would always say it as two syllables.
Do you have a similar hiccup like these where you just can’t get something right?
